Who we are
PTEwhat is a coaching service specialised in helping students achieve their target scores in the PTE Academic test, whether for migration, work, or study. With over 1,000 students guided and a proven step-by-step method, we help you understand exactly how the exam works and how to perform with confidence, with or without templates.
Every lesson focuses on clarity, feedback, and immediate progress. We believe that understanding the logic of the test is what truly builds results that last.
Meet Gustavo Ferraz, or just Gus.
Gus is the founder and head coach at PTEwhat. Having taken the PTE more than 15 times and achieving a perfect 90/90, he understands exactly how the test's new hybrid scoring system (humans + AI) works and uses that experience to help others reach their goals.

The Beginning
Gus starts his student journey, facing the same challenges as every test taker.
A Perfect Score & Foundation
Gus passes the PTE with 90/90 on his first attempt, begins teaching, and launches private lessons with an online booking system and new website.
First Milestone
Over 200 students coached in the first year through private sessions.
Expansion
Launch of the first online course for Brazilian students.
